For months on end, the two big lithium hopefuls GXY and PLS, are consistently on the most discussed list. And yet, their respective share price performances have been abysmal.

Why?

Serious question. Not trolling. As a student of the market, I want to know why so many holders are fixated. Many other stocks held promise and went no where. The ASX is littered with them. Why do so many people here seem to suffer form Stockholm Syndrome and can't seem to move on?
