@Stock12345, I'm not sure we really disagree on much here. The point of my post is precisely that I don't think GXY are going to get a takeover offer, and I was trying to explain that as clearly as I could. I agree with you that people are very quick to jump to that conclusion and possible even spread rumours to benefit themselves.
That's why I said it has about as much chance as the whole deal falling through.
I'm glad you form your own opinions and I wholeheartedly agree that everyone should do the same. No issues there.
What I do have a problem with is this comment:

In this post on Friday of last week (15th) I said I was surprised at the volume/supply that had been waiting off screen. This was obvious because 40m shares had been traded and that is more than had been on the entire sell side. No comment about it dropping again:

This is because I have outright said in multiple posts that I don't think it would make sense for LPD to be involved in SdV, unless LPD's patented brine tech solves a specific problem at SdV, and because of my comments above that I had a mixed reaction to the LOH-Max announcement.

I don't have a problem if you disagree with me (though I don't think we actually disagree on much), and I don't have a problem if you encourage posters to do their own research. I thoroughly recommend it.
But I do have a problem with you attributing statements to me that I never made. In this case it isn't a big deal as it was just a comment about the share price pulling back, which is neither here nor there. But in future, if you wish to attribute a comment to me, please share the post you're quoting from. If you can't find the post, it probably means I didn't make the comment.
