    Hi Salty,
    There's about 500 out of 2200 asx listed companies shorted reguluarly.

    What is significant is the share of daily trades that are shorts for any company.

    For example, on the 28th of July out of a GXY total trade volume of 2,056,512, 1,427,916 were recorded as shorts;
    thats 69.4%.
