No idea how I missed seeing this clause when I read the offer. It looks to me that they could simply invoke it without too much upset once it passed majority - which is probably not much more than what management and mates are sitting on.
Instos will all go for it too. Its done and the market seems to agree without hesitation.

Get this out of the way whilst SDV is the DFS is that we will be looking at.

Obvious James Bay will have a DFS out soon but I bet it will be timed to be released after the merge is complete (for obvious reasons - its best to make this look medium term for the moment - don't want GMM holders getting itchy for Plan B).

So much of what you say is spot on.

GMM must be very happy - but this could not have happened without the GXY Board being the main party!

A couple of observations:
I'm pretty happy Readhead no longer has an official role (in either of the merged entities) - after all he was at the helm when Iggy almost sent GXY broke. This also touches on 'the closet' now only having skeletons and not live bodies!

GMM are being generously rewarded for their financial and technical support - but without this timely occurrence, GXY may still be floundering.

So overall - as only a GXY holder of some 6 years - probably a fair outcome
