very good read thanks for that!! really enjoyed that having someone connecting all the dots from over the last few months that honestly have just left me baffled at my own (lack of) judgement.

I agree with all you have said from what I can tell. the only question I have though is why did MS who started out long turn short?
and if it was just down to trying to play a market top while getting caught off guard, why did they not just blame it on bad timing and let it go?

why would they instead take down an entire industry with that silly report and pointing at Chinese spot prices?

of course I don't think they ll be successful in taking down the industry but certainly they have temporarily put a big hole into a lot of people's pockets.
