Hi as I see it the Current Account Deficit can be funded as most has been borrowings for capital works housing and purchases of planes etc . Our Current account Deficit in the Keating years was a lot of borrowings by the states to fund their big lendings to promoters like Bond Skase and other entrepreneurs ( Spelling ) It took a Liberal government to fix up those fu-ckups from both State and Federal governments I think that Australia is in good shape at the moment but am not very confident about the American economy Cheers Towie
