I actually did delete that thread you referred to and I am standing by that decision.
Discrimination in the headline should always be watched. It so happened I came later on.
Here is a rule in the Code of Conduct: "Although HotCopper does not routinely screen, edit or review messages posted on the message boards, it reserves the right to monitor or remove any posting (or part thereof), at any time, without notice".
H/C and moderators don't need to give a reason for the deletion. That headline may be more significant than you think but you don't have to worry about it.
H/C and the more informed moderators would. I have lost a lot of posts in the past, whole innocent study threads as a matter of fact. Still. I had to abide with it.
Items Islam and other religions tend to be emotionally charged. Other people from overseas are reading H/C as well, a total of some 15,000 per day.
