According to
http://markets.ft.com/research/Markets/Tearsheets/Forecasts?s=BYL:ASX “The one analyst offering a 12 month price target expects Brierty Limited share price to rise to 0.572 in the next year from the last price of 0.23.”
That TP may happen, but the analyst is probably either Bell Potter or Hartleys, both of whom have a history of bullish target prices that are often not reached. For example, Hartleys report of 25 February 2015, which is on BYL's website, states:
- Share Price: $0.41
- Valuation: $0.62
- 12mth price target: $0.63
The Bell Potters analysis of 24 February 2015, also on that website, had a 12-month target price of $0.57. My own valuations and SP expectations have also been too bullish, so I am not in a position to be too critical of the duo. All I can venture is that the SP is more likely to rise than fall in the near future, and we may as well wait for fresh information before calibrating new valuations.
