I did business and economics since high school. Went to Uni to study accounting and applied finance. After I graduate always worked in the financial service industries with CFA and other designations and qualifications. Not going to be arrogantly call myself an expert or guru but I at least know a thing or two about investment. Ever since I bumped into a company called A2M I forgot about div#(*$&ation. Can't and don't even want to spell that word any more.

If diversification truly works and works for everybody why we only pick 1 career and 1 spouse at a time? Shouldn't we be working (part time) for at least 8-10 companies and date 10 people at the same time so if one or some go under we are not putting all eggs in one basket and lose everything? No, we pick the best offer either for job or spouse and stick to them for as long as we can unless things change materially and substantially.

When a crisis or systematic risk arises the entire market tanks. Doesn't matter if you have 8 or 8000 different assets. Not just A2M CSL held up pretty well too. The Covid 19 pandemic just reaffirmed my theory that diversification is just like dating 10 people at the same time. Can't say it's wrong it's just up to you. It's definitely no bible.
