combine increasing earnings with an increased payout ratio(65% Fy16 interim) the dividends are increasing and by double digits..
Forward guidance has been revised backwards slightly but with improvements in cost control, reduction of COR and a better return on funds invested (this was down for the half) the insurance profit only needs to be 9% to be a pass mark and anything better will be major re-rating
No doubt that Europe and Australia have carried this mob but the incremental improvement in the North America division will start to really impact the bottom line in a big way..
