I have 2 boxes of relenza (bought mid-2009) and 1 of, dare I admit it, tamifu (bought in Dec 2009).
My wife and I were vaccinated for H1N1 when we were in Aust early Dec. At that time the children's vaccination was approved but not yet available. The best they could offer for my 10mo was adult tamiflu which can be diluted.
I am a great believer in vaccinations. Having had malaria, typhoid, dysentary, possibly cholera, suspected rabies, and dozens of other fevers, stomach bugs, etc. I get every vaccine that is possible.
In China vaccination for many childhood diseases is compulsory for children and proof of vaccination must be shown before they can attend school.
Given the population of China it will take some time before everyone is vaccinated for H1N1. There will probably be a spike after Chinese New Year when it is traditional to return to ones home town to be with their parents.
