Just nature of seed financing, from my experience a lot more "flexible" than a float and you're right, great terms with CNote and near term liquidity. Often even once they have what they need to get ball rolling on float they will accept a little extra to help get the right people set (who will then contribute (ideally) 3-4x in the IPO).
