I read something the other day (I think it was the head of Hyundai) that has a different view on how hydrogen will become a major mobility fuel.
Contrary to the widely held view that heavy vehicles will be the way to win over the market, he said it would on the back of passenger vehicles (suv, sedans, utes, etc.)
He argued that the numbers of family sized passenger vehicles exceeded heavy vehicle numbers by many many multiples.
Because of that, widespread expansion into H2 passenger vehicles would accelerate expansion much quicker than it would through heavy vehicles.
I suppose it all depends on whether they have a H2 passenger vehicle that will equal or exceed the competition, in particular, electric vehicles such as Tesla and such.
