IF the chook virus thing works, I don't think it will take years to get it off the ground.
A lot different to treating humans where trial after trial after trial must be conducted before it is turned loose on us.
Specifically, in this case it can be almost immediately put in the chooks water & it doesn't matter 'cos they were gunna die anyway without it.
If it trials are successful, I think the pressure to "bring it on" immediately will be huge, as it is the one thing that can solve the problem, before it emerges in the human race, not to mention the economics on the poultry industry.
