mkhc - don't write off the project too quickly. If CSIRO/Imugene research did come up with a fix using the Adenoviral platform, it would be worth heaps - even though further testing and regulatory requirements would have to be met. The lead time to get an approved product into the market from bench testing phase would probably be several years - but if accepted it would boost IMU sp significantly especially in the current climate of bird flu hype. So it's not a hopeless case by any means. You realise of course that IMU's foray into avian flu research is really only a sideshow to its main activities which are still pig and poultry feedstock enhancers, plus the PRRS program which appears to have merit - if the fukcers ever get it off the ground.
