Agree that the announcement was short on details. But I am confident that the board is competent, after all, they did managed to raise money right at the peak.
I reckon the acquisition announcement was a bluff - in light of rain/floods - possible downgrades from Macau and pressuring Vietnamese government into allowing locals to gamble. IMHO
