This is such a neat solution, drilling the first of a series of holes required for the 40mw power plant, and using the hole initially to complete the tests that Hab-2 was required to do, then later using the hole as a production hole in the following Hotrock40 program.

If the cost of drilling is written off as part of the Hotrock40 program then they get a replacement for Hab2 for free.

As previously discussed the problems with a 8.5inch hole are minimal, thus success is almost a given.
IE there should be no impediment to successfully complete this hole.
