    There isn't a company on the planet that hacking attempts are not attempted. Some are automated and some a manual, which are obviously more serious than others.

    Some are labour intensive campaigns in a low cost countries focused on hacking the accounts of business owners to impersonate them. 

    It is nothing unusual, and easy to do. 

    I'd expect that all C level Execs of every ASX listed company (even the speccies) is a target or is planned to be a target in campaigns to impersonate them. 

    Reasons for impersonation range from tricking the person who conducts bank transfers to paying money to the wrong account, to finding whatever information can be sold, to seeing if there is any behaviour occuring that they can exploit for blackmail purposes.
