I am surprised that nobody else has already commented on the odd performance of MRE this week, particularly on Monday.
What was going on there ?
My theory was that Glencore was actually SELLING last week in November to keep the price under 30c to discourage shareholders from mailing those cheques to pay for the rights issue. So that Glencore could soak up all the 30c shares for itself. They could legally do this, apparently.
It doesn't really explain this week though.
If anyone has an alternate theory I would be very interested to read it.
