I've seen a lot of trypanophobia - I never treated it as a joke - although I used humour a lot in handling it.
the most fear I ever saw besides the odd person dying ----------- were actually blokes who had had a stray sex event - when they were married.
more than once we came back from some trip or during the trip and a bloke had had sex with someone the night before and wanted to have an std test before he got back and slept with the wife
my god - I saw those blokes sweat - because there was no point having a test so soon - they lived in fear for days - weeks at times.
they did the whole act --- shaking, crying, god knows what ---------------- I've no idea what their wives must have thought when they were home
and when finally they were tested and it came back negative - well - winning Powerball wouldn't have been as big a relief for them
