Hairyback, the reaction you described therein is IMO what happens when you refuse to acknowledge the broken promises, the trust betrayed, seemingly endless gaffes, gobsmacking backflips, Captain's Calls gone dreadfully wrong, mismanagement of scandals such as ChopperGate and so on.
IMO you persuaded yourself internally that Tony Abbott was the bees' knees, the ants' pants and the best thing since sliced bread. You even denied the will of the people as expressed in 168 consecutive opinion polls. Your record is on this forum and known to other posters.
When Malcolm Turnbull acted to stop the haemorrhaging and the damage to the national interest; like those Abbott was prepared to throw in front of a bus, you were like a kangaroo caught in shooters' headlights!
