We all have limits to how much risk we are prepared to carry on a stock, esp if we've been burnt overweighted on something as most of us have.
Therefore I emphasise with Loki, however the limit I try to set myself is such that I don't end up doing panic sells, as imo this are surest way to lose your money and reduce your portfolio. Also wouldn't buy an ALB in the first place if I wasn't prepared for the odd strike, drought, flood or some local unrest.
I agree with FedX, a huge overreaction, to what was probably one disgruntled Chief moaing to a journo, perhaps cause he wanted an extra room on the house ALB was building for his relocation. Whatever, not worth a $40mm markdown of ALB captn.
