Hi Schnitz
I'm with you on this one. TLS, like most government run monopolies which are really an extension of the bureaucracy, did get extremely bloated. I knew a number of people who worked there and it was a holiday retreat. Some of them would never have survived in a less sheltered environment.
P.S I hate bureacracies - full of incompetent people holding up the competent to justify their positions
