All good, no offence taken. I get why you thought I might be SDA, no the first time someone accused me of this—some of the themes I touch on do cross over, but I’m not part of any denomination. In fact, I think it’s exactly these man-made institutions and labels that have blurred the truth. That’s why I always say, let go… and let God.
You’re right about one thing: the world is a mess. More than just problems—it’s straight-up evil in many ways. And when you look around at all the suffering, confusion, and corruption, it makes sense why so many are searching for answers, even in places that seem outdated or complex, like prophecy or ancient texts.
But for me, it’s not about religion or trying to sound clever with “numerical wisdom.” It’s about real hope. Not hope in systems or leaders or some utopian promise, but in God Himself. He’s the one constant when everything else is shaking. And even if some things in Scripture are hard to unpack (I get that), the heart of it is about love, justice, and redemption—and that’s something I think we can all benefit from.
Sometimes it takes looking past the mess of religion to find the actual truth behind it. That’s where I landed.
