Headline in AFR today "Metcash accused of poor form"
So what have they done exactly ?
Turns out that they asked one of the suppliers to SupaBarn, who Coles are trying to take over, to object to the deal on anti competitive grounds. Like many other suppliers are.
WTF.
Isn't that exactly what business competitors are meant to do ??
And hardly surprising that suppliers are up in arms given Coles past record and it's dominant position along with Woolworths.
Maybe Metcash didn't say "pretty please" to this guy.
