The fees fund the team who develop the standards, as well as nutrition research conducted by the Heart Foundation. We’re a charity and not government funded. The Tick Program runs on a cost-recovery basis.


All certification costs, the only thing that changes is how the certification costs are recouped (for example by increased sales).
