I have no argument Glug, but why are the little labels on products? yes we all pay for the food statments, ratings etc so we are more informed of what is contained within said product, never has there been a label that hides what it's for and for only 2% of the population Don't try to bring export into it as many years ago anything we exported had to be marked so.

Case in point vegemite is halal . do a search on how much is exported and to where. but 99.9 percent of australians subsidize this cost.!!!
