While I don't really like that my money goes to funding islamic organisations or any religious organisation simply by buying food. However I understand the commercial realities, which leaves my only real issues with halal being the lack of uniform, easily identifiable labeling so the consumer does in fact have a choice and I guess where the money actually goes - not saying it does go to undesirable(or at least even less desirable than mosques and stuff) places, just it's somewhat unclear.
