Yes, I need to eat so if everything has a religious market tariff on it, I will have no choice in paying it.
Yes, multinationals benefit from apathy over this so the government is happy to placate.
But, I can never agree with religious taxes, I guess in a secular country I kinda expect not to have them, and it is my duty in support of secularism to voice opposition to this, however fruitless that is.
