I'm watching the rain on beautiful Okinawa, which has followed us down from Kyoto....but never mind...it's not that heavy.
What concerns me about this thread, and I am nowhere near an expert on our constitution....but after reading it again....I fail to see where a religion is allowed to impose a tax on our secular nation. Particulary a religion with a clear, ethos for our destruction. Maybe I missed it but would like an opinion or ten from those knowledgable real Ausralians re the legitimacy of this farce that has been imposed on us. If, in fact, this imposition is unconstitutional.....than it should get the boot...
Common sense of the majority of Australians says it should be banned anyway. Muslims want it - they pay for it. No one else is interested, or supportive of this rort.
