There is always people trying to scare us. I am scared of nuclear war. Practiced for it in the 1980s and we (Military) joked knowingly the best preparation for Nuclear war was "Put your head between your knees and kiss your ass goodbye!
I love Nuclear power and conflating those issue is a specialty of ANTI everything nuclear. That impact is one of the main misinformation drivers in Germany and other places for scaring and frightening people away from the Clean 24 hour per day, Multi year Energy that Nuclear Energy provides which no other form of cyclical energy types can provide.
