Hi Dave, great post!
That’s the maths and it does seem to add up but the biggest problem for a shareholder is that it’s a constant battle to wade through the smoke and mirrors. We have no idea what the suits are up to in the background and they only tell us what they want when they want.
In its day shares in AZC were worth 40c and the prospects were not half as good as now, I didn't pay that, I averaged around the 12c mark. I believe that if AZC get taken over by a big investor like OZC for example (owners of the other 20%) who get things moving fast and the mine is full of good quality stuff with a life of 50+ years then your 2.7c is going to make you a killing. You must have picked them up right at the bottom to get 2.7c…
A re-listing, a take-over and some good marketing often outweigh the maths and it’s difficult to make comparisons (do you know any?). The maths don’t allow for sentiment or future projections so if AZC have a majority shareholder on board that has deep pockets and AZC are creating a 1000+ jobs with full government backing then 5c should be peanuts.
From my research if AZC re-list and are taken over then the prospects are bright for us shareholders!
