The reality is, business owners risk their money to make money for themselves, they wouldn't do it for the benefits of the workers. They need to hire workers to operate their business, let's face the truth: unless it is a husband and wife show (a tiny business), they won't have any business without the workers to operate them.
The business owners and workers need each other to survive. Don't forget also that most consumers are themselves workers; without a job, they won't have the money to buy the products or services of the businesses and the businesses won't survive for long.
It is a mutually dependent relationship.
