I would rather have Thodey on board than the previous wood duck. As a Telstra shareholder and customer I've been very impressed with the turnaround in the business and this has been reflected in the share price. I agree that they will need to make some further changes moving forward but with the NBN payment they have the perfect opportunity to do so.
Great dividend, improving share price, capital management plan shortly to be announced. looking good from here IMO.
