I did expect a good result from CUS....but it's very dissapointing. EPS of almost 9 cps..I remember when they had 8 eps and the sp was $3.20. However the NPAT included a $3M rebate of tax. The real problem is the EBIT decreasing from
$16.9 (09) to $12 (10). Regardless of machine no.s increasing,
and charges going from $2...to $2.50 they are in a non - growth industry. Too many machines, unfriendly political environment. CUS has done a great job....but I'm tiring of the soft retail environment being blamed. People are changing habits....cash out and paywave and the likes are the main challengers to CUS model. Then in 2012 ALL ATM machines are going to be removed from VIC gaming venues. Share will end up at $1.50 and put on 10% a year.....not my style. Great company....trying thier best but leave it to mums and dads now..... I'm in a company now...VOC...35% revenue increase....every 6 months.
