G'day holders; well, the half yearly results are due most likely next week and could even be as soon as tomorrow or Tuesday?
In recent weeks we have seen some moderate accumulation and a steady stream of support return once again. Nothing earth shattering, however building support nonetheless with modest volumes.
Looking back on past reporting periods, management in the past 3.5 yrs have been nothing short of excellent in forecasting growth, delivering on their promises and enabling strong shareholder returns in the process. Steady increases on EPS continue to head in the right direction with cost management as the business expands, all executed with laser-like accuracy. With current experienced management and a highly supportive board, should facilitate more of the same and little concern.
And since the (last) yearly which was the best result on record, we’ve had a little time now to see *if* any residual effects of Brexit will have some material effect on numbers. I don't think it will, but you never know and the answer will be just a few more sleeps away. We also have a new President take up shop and some interesting politics across a couple of the larger nations in the EU.
All in all makes for one of the most keenly anticipated half-yearly's since I have been following ALU over several years and very much look forward to casting a considered eye across the numbers when they are released. GLTAH.
