in the red but in for the long term as have more than a decade before retirement and the wife even longer. The portfolio is up about 12% since Jan 1 so at this stage of the calendar year it's looking pretty good and have just banked some profits and moved more into cash and gold stocks as I suspect a correction is coming.Signs of volatility on US markets and their interest rates are moving downward.Next we will see US dollar devaluation and gold price will rocket as people move funds to safer waters. US markets extreamly expensive and need a correction.Aussie markets less so but will be taken for a ride. If this virus starts spreading to other Asian countries then the sh1t could hit the ceiling fan.
