1. On 01 February 2012, the Mpumalanga Provincial Government provided environmental authorisation (NEMA) to Universal coal for the development of the Kangala Colliery.
Why no announcement for this when they got this environmental approval, this ia a good news. Now only Water Licence left (they expect June Quarter).
2. Off-take deals-UNV aims to have closure on commercial agreements shortly.
3. Resource update-Inferred resources to a Measured category, will be released this quarter.
Coking coal project 1. Scoping study result for Berenice/Cygnus project is expected by end of March 2012.
2. 121 borehole phase 2 exploration and assay programme will commence on 1 March 2012.
Looks like a few more announcements coming in next few weeks.
