half yearly report

Last year's half yearly report came out on 29th August.

So I expect this year's will be out very soon. I look forward to a number of things:

    - The NTA per share.
    - Some discussion about the forward plans at Horizon

and then the resumption of the on-market buyback. If the market does not recognise the value atm, then UOS may as well use some of that capital to increase shareholder value.

Not to mention the fact that, once new data is out, those updated metrics filter through the market and find their way to various investor value searches, which tends to create more buyer interest.

Whether you search on p/e, book value/price, value growth etc., UOS ends up high on all searches.

It is easy to ignore one profit figure as a once off. But when a company, year after year (10 years+), grows shareholder value, pays dividends, and does so by being a low-risk, self-funded developer... well, that is why I am a shareholder.

And UOS have done this during the GFC. Once those 'green shoots' kick in and greater confidence returns to property markets worldwide, expect even better results going forward.

    Happy researching...

    Y
