Having said that, IMO there is a general stench surrounding this " takeover'.... never seen an IER this late in a situation like this...UNV stated that advise from E&Y was that the report would be ready ( including the extra time needed to account for the NBC transaction completion) in mid Jan... six weeks later and 4 months after the engagement to produce a report, we have nothing.....we had a unconditional solicitation period agreed to by UNV for an offer that clearly is way too low.... compare the Stanmore Coal defense by the board to this so far inept response by UNV is staggering..... without the current offer, the SP would be higher... would anyone want to buy UNV stock on market for more that 35c at this stage when it seems the company is bending over backwards to make this woeful deal happen.

The fact the the 2 major shareholders are backing this low ball deal is just as perplexing... more to this than meets the eye no doubt.
