The US$ to AU$ on the 28 August 2009 (dividend record date) was AU$1.1957.
US$0.46 x 1.1957 = AU$0.55
Today, the US$ is only worth AU$1.1022.
Thus: US$0.50 x 1.1022 = AU$0.55
What increase ?
A smoke and mirrors trick if you ask me.
We had better hope that in 10 days time that the US$ increases in value by about 10%.
