The three scenarios that I have for a Bookbuild then SPP combo have the SP going underwater (in GBG's case eventually - but mining companies news outflow is different to retailer). These are Bradken June 11, GBG May 10, AHE May 11.
However I longed this fortuitously as it seems to have gone to far all at once, and the overhang is not that great if the SPP shares are factored in as not occurring due to it being underwater or ATM.
Macquarie did a BB/SPP combo in May 09 - but it was such a strong bull market that it isn't really useful as a comparison.
