Aim rules are different from ASX , I've seen this situation occur a number of times with dual listed shares . For what its worth I certainly read significance into the fact that CPN announced the halt rather than ASX required it . News in my opinion will more likely be beneficial - as others here suggest probably a merger / takeover or a major share placing .
