In human results have also shown a perfect laminar blood flow that is a consequence of the perfect shape and design that reduces leaflet stress and improves durability significantly while also producing superb class leading Haemodynamic results.
Huge EOA’s and low mean gradients. All of these features of DurAVR mean that our valve retains its shape and optimal performance as time passes.
Sadly for the incumbent’s (despite their efforts to improve anti calcification etc) their 3 piece tissue valves simply cannot operate like this. Therefore they suffer from the effects of HALT and HAM.
DurAVR will not and this will become just yet another important competitive advantage of our Adapt treated THV valve that will further differentiate us from the valves on the market.
