For those that may be interested, the distinctions between a halt and suspension are
1) Halt maximum two full trading days
2) Halt orders can still be placed but not traded
3) Suspension orders purged
So why place a halt in the first place?
Was the deal expected to be completed in that time frame and therefore it has become more problematic than first expected.
