That would be a very expensive delivery system for a not very big explosive belt compared with a few mortar bombs or a rocket I think. Its (current) military use would be more for surveillance, but a drone would do that just as well if not better. The JetPack is more about getting first responders to difficult to access spots that a helicopter would find difficult because of blade clearance. One of the good features of the system is that if you stop steering it it stops and hovers. Its more like a jet ski for the sky.
Incidentally I am also from Christchurch, and bought in IPO at first public opportunity. This stock will fly in more ways than one I think.
