This appears to be COE's first trading halt since an ann in September 2004 (after Christies-2 discovered two new oil horizons.)
This must be a significant ann, even Rion aquisition and MOS accumulation, did not have a prior trading halt.
I agree it is to early for Kurnia and even so I am not sure if its is trading halt worthy.
If I was a betting man then this will be linked to the aquistion/interest MS spoke of in the egm ann.
SUR - not real sure on that one what does SUR have that COE would want, if RION and MOS are any example or hint of a possible MS play then these two companies already have significant hydrocarbon discoveries (Indonesia and PNG respectively.)
I'm thinking positive, but extent???????
