i sold & fear settlement on juno -re: halted I expected a price collapse in GTM today. My GTM trade was the first sale of the day at 2.6c (500,000). I had been averaging down and had got to 4.5c - so I lost $10K. I gave up on GTM when I read costs per ounce had been $749 per ounce to produce the gold last quater. I was amazed how well GTM held up under such pressure of this bad number in their quarterly. I was expecting GTM to fall sub 2c and was half hoping to buy back in at around 1.5c. But no such fall happened at all today.

I will be feeling a bit green if this halt is to announce an out-of-court settelement with Strata Mining on the clawback rights in relation to the 70% interest in the Juno, Nobles Nob and Peko mine tenements near GTM's Warrego treatment facilities (they have JORC compliant resources in excess of 250,000 ounces of gold). I was not expecting the litigation to be resolved till late in the year. Drat and double drat if it has been resolved already.
