Japan HAS already started sourcing for Rare Earth a few years ago from around the globe.
Also, if history is correct, the Japanese were the first to land in Western Australia and took up cooper, etc from our land way back in the 1970s.
The Japanese, like the Singaporeans are very forward looking, pro-active and efficient & effective.
Not to start a quarrel, but it's like a TOYOTA & LEXUS versus other big guzzlers elsewhere.

It's the Chinese, the BRIC and even a resurrected Japan(after 20 years in the doldrum) that will SHAKE the world,
Australia just happen to have the resource and am blessed to be on the cusp to provide the resources for the BRIC to grow.................
