I don’t think we need to see the actual footage to understand that it is highly probable that fighting aged men, taking their families to the safest area possible.
Might be discouraged from doing that by their more committed citizens.
Consensus objectors/men who just don’t want to blindly follow aren’t thought very highly of in any shooting war by any side.
Is shooting them on the spot any worse than dragging them off the street and a month or so later sending them into a meat grinder with an average life expectancy of a quarter of a day?
These senseless deaths are mostly proof of the callous indifference to the average human that the people running the show, have.
The execution squads, “recruiting teams” or military police are just following orders. Some may enjoy the work, some may see it as being not being a very pleasant thing to do but necessary while some would be doing the job with a heavy heart and tears in their eyes.
But they would all be in the same boat if they told their bosses that they had had enough and wouldn’t do it anymore.
They would be on the wrong end of the fire stick in a blink.
As there is a distinct lack of Fair Work Tribunals in these situations.
